REI Powerflyte Tights - Men'sis rated4.2out of5by5.
Rated4out of5byFresh air fiendfromChilly weather wearThese are not warm enough for the dead of winter, but are perfect for the shoulder seasons of late fall and spring. They also should be great for summer backpacking in the mountains, and they are lighter than my older polartec tights.

Rated4out of5byOver The Hill and Under the HillfromNot as warm as I thought they would beI wanted something to keep me warm in 25-40 degree weather for both running and biking, that would keep me warm in both activities, and not get caught in chain when biking. I wanted something more casual, and the sales dude sold me on these. They're good, I'm glad I got them, but if you are cold wimp like me, you might want a thin inner layer underneath. I use to have very thin polypro for my legs years ago when backpacking. Until I can find something to replace my polypro, I've been throwing on heavy cotton sweat pants over top of these when it's real cold. That kind of defeats the reason I go these -- especially the bike chain issue.

Rated4out of5byMr JasonfromPerfect for winter joggingI picked up these tights because I needed something for winter jogging. I was worried that they'd be too thin and not warm enough for the Wisconsin winter, but these tights are outstanding! I've gone running in around 20 degree weather and have been perfectly warm.
My only complaint is that there is only a small pocket for maybe a key. It'd be nice if there were an iPhone sized pocket.
But these super comfortable and plenty warm enough for cool - cold weather running.
