I used this under my winter jacket while snowboarding in Colorado and stayed very warm. I also use it a lot walking on campus in Atlanta, which sometimes includes windy rain and I stay relatively warm. The only thing that annoys me a bit is when the zipper is all the way up it's kind of uncomfortable on my chin/neck but I can move it around until it's more comfy. Also wish it wasn't quite so expensive on a college budget but so far it's been worth it :)
