    I walk the dogs daily in rain or shine and it was a good fit and good product. Waterproof, windproof. Now that the weather has warmed up I can save it for fall. My only complaint. was that I got it on clearance and there were no other color choices. It is a bit neon--You can't miss me in it. doh! Otherwise, I love it! Thanks REI for anoher great product!

      It sheds water very well, though I haven't been in a soaking rain to give it a thorough test. It is very warm for the weight and a good wind breaker. I really like the feminine styling, and it's very well constructed. The fabric has an interesting 2 color weave, as opposed to a lot of rain gear that is one flat color. The store lighting did not do the coat justice, as the lining looked brown, and I had to study it a bit to determine, it is a very nice dark plum color, proved correct in daylight.

      The one thing I would have liked better is if the logo were a complimentary color instead of contrasting. When I purchase expensive clothing, I believe I should not have to be a walking advertisement. I fixed the offending and bullet proof embroidery with a dye pen the same color as the shell.
