    These are the best socks ever. I use them daily on my daughter. Sizing runs small so I would buy them in person. The warm when wet feature of smart wool makes these socks very baby and toddler friendly. The cost of these is the only draw back.

    We use these on our one year old when it's too warm for a full body suit but too cold for exposed skin. One 60 degree winter day, we hiked about 4 miles with her in a pack. We couldn't find both socks, so we put on one smart wool and one random cotton one that covered more of her leg. When we got back to the car, her foot with the smartwool sock was snuggly warm - the other one was so cold. The difference was amazing.
    The do get small quick. One trip to the dryer and she was tugging them off because they're a bit tight on her ankles. But when she's in the pack (and can't reach her feet) they are perfect.
