    REI pretty much nailed this. I hate toiletry bags that are over-engineered. Over-engineered bags look good in theory, but (for me) when it comes down to use, I don't want a bag that has a special holding place for every item I have. Rather, I want a pouch I can dumb everything into. Honestly, how many items do you have even in an extensive bathroom kit? Does it really matter that your saving cream is sitting against your toothpaste?

    Over-engineered bags are too big, too heavy and just become high-priced dump bags for me in the end.

    REI made this simple. The quality is very very solid. My only complaint is that the fabric is a little heavy, but I like that for durability....I just wish the sides were mesh, so water could get out and for a little weight reduction. But....as I said, the durability is a plus, so I'm really not unhappy.

    This thing is pretty much perfect.
