The Patagonia Fiona parka is an exceedingly feminine, urban and lightweight down coat. Wrapped up in its downy warmth, ordering gelato on the palazzo in winter seems a fine choice.

      I loooovvveee this coat. I have a black and cream one from previous seasons, then got the red one from this season. The new version has a different quilting pattern, the wrist holes no longer are elastic but open and the arms a tad longer, and the hip area is a little smaller-even though I'm a pear shape, I still ordered the same size as the old version (Medium). If you're looking for a heavy duty, warm winter coat-this is not it. It is quite warm for how thin it is. I wear it in the dead of winter, and this has been a cold one, and am comfortably warm. But it's not one that I turn to when I know I'll be outside for hours in super cold weather. I wear it more for going out or going to work because it's a very stylish down coat. It looks so cute with boots-particularly my Keen Bern boots. Definitely size up if you're planning on wearing sweaters or anything remotely bulky under it. I don't, so I stuck to my same size. I get so many complements on it because its A line shape is incredibly flattering. I cannot recommend this enough. Excellent purchase (x3!)!

      looks good in the picture but... If you want to wear it open, the bottom sticks out at 45 degree angle. looks very weird. I returned it.

        I had the north face long parka & even though it was warm,, it also felt as if Imwas wearing a down comforter
        this Fiona is much less bulk with more warmth. it's worth the $-it's a sweet jacket, it keeps me warm and dry shuffling about Seattle.
        I'm petite-with athletic build. the coat has a slim design and looks great with everything.
