    Comments about Grandoe Thunderbird Gloves:

    My husband bought these gloves for a winter trip to Alaska. His glove size is 9.5, and the XL were an excellent fit. The leather glove and wool liner kept his hands warm when the temperature was in the teens. The leather glove wore well, but the loose weave wool liner developed a hole almost immediately that I ended up mending. The tag in the glove says leather with 100% polyester lining, and the tag in the liner says 70% lambs wool, 20% nylon, and 10% cashmere, which are different than the specs listed on the website. Also, there are snaps on the glove and liner to secure the liner, but they were not uncomfortable when worn separately. My husband sometimes wore a different, thicker liner with the gloves, and that worked well, too. Overall, he liked the fit, comfort, and warmth of the gloves.
