This backpack was a great deal. (bought it while on clearance) I have used it several times on day hikes and I am very pleased with how durable to fabric is. It isn't flimsy like some other backpacks are. The material is just thick enough so you know that your stuff is protected, yet it's lightweight. My only tiny complaint would be that it is a little smaller and holds less than I thought it would. BUT.. for the price and quality, I am A-okay with that. Just means I need to take less on my day hikes!! Anyway, it's a GREAT backpack. I just love Mountain hard wear.

This pack, I got for a great deal, and it has lived up to everything I thought it would be. I use it for my day hikes. I can pack a lunch, water, a book, and my GPS, and everything fits. The pack fits tight to the back and is comfortable. It never bulges too much. I am completely happy with my purchase. I own three packs that range from 1 day - 3 days, week long trips. This is my favorite day pack.
