The Neo Jacket from REI is a comfortable, weather-resistant, everyday soft shell. It resists rain and blocks wind, and the soft pile fleece lining provides comfortable warmth.

  • Soft, supple fabric is durable and features comfortable stretch; Durable Water Repellent finish resists moderate rain and moderate wind (to 55 mph) yet allows breathability
  • Soft pile interior feels great on cool days; and since it's laminated to the outer shell, bulkiness is kept to a minimum

      great jacket! I was looking for a nice, flattering fitting jacket that I could wear to work and yet could still keep me warm. It has great performance (I was warm) and nice style (not bulky). I assume it would perform equally well on the trail during my next hike.

        Found this at store - the cut is fantastic! I am 5'4", about 125 lbs, and middle-aged; the small fit just right with slimming without tightness. It's a lighter weight jacket than I expected, meaning it's probably more for 50+ degree weather. That suits San Diego weather perfectly, but it was a little chilly for winter Arizona evenings when it dipped to the mid-40s. It transitions nicely from active to restaurant dining, but I wouldn't use it as a hiking jacket personally (hard to layer underneath).

          I bought this jacket in black at REI's 50% off sale with no time to read reviews. I must say, I love it! The fit is perfect and comfortable, it's warm and it looks good. After wearing it a few times casually I decided to see if there were reviews. I have never had a problem with fuzz left behind, even when I've worn sweaters underneath. I am taking it hiking/camping with me up into southern Oregon coastal areas and know it will keep me warm under my rain gear! Great jacket!

            i picked this up when I was in Alaska for an extra jacket - it was warm and I used it alot - only thing that i didn't like about it - it left fuzz all over your inner shirt!!! I am hoping now that I washed it (i didn't get a chance in Alaska) it will not do that anymore - haven't had the chance to wear it again..
