First it's Werner so you know what you should expect if you've own(ed) one and you pretty much get all that with this; I have only two little nic picks both not big deals at all and wish I could give 4.5 stars. The only CONs I've got is I wish it had the flat button release and adjustable ferrule system like my Werner Camano. This thing fits together like something NASA made; hard to even tell were the ends come loose and when taking apart or putting back together you can hear the vacuum made by it's tight fit. This is my first 4 piece paddle and I'm lovein' it. Wish my Camano was a 4 now. I use this too store away for river trips were aggressive rapids are along the way but primary use my Werner Camano with the Powerhouse to mix and match as needed. I got this paddle for kayaking camp trips that range on one trip from flat water to class IV+ rapids. The majority is flat water, wide river class II so the Camano dose good there without needed to switch out. But when I hit that narrower III+ were more direct power, stopping/maneuvering power, or needed powerful boof stroke I want the Powerhouse and glad I now own it! Also good for if you just run rapids but might want later to be able to break down a store as needed as I do.
