Comments about OnGuard PitBull Mini LS U-Lock:
People make a hobby of complaining about the bike replacement offers from both OnGuard and Kryptonite. I think it might be better if the lock companies didn't offer ANY bike replacement plan, because it's a distraction and gives people something to complain about.
You're not shopping for insurance, you're shopping for a lock. You want a good lock so your bike will be as secure as possible. This lock is about as good as you can get. Just go ahead and buy this or the equivalent Krypto lock. I've used the OnGuard Pitbull for years with no problems. Tough, durable, secure.
The replacement plans are a nicety -- if your bike is stolen you may be able to get some money from them depending on the conditions. But that's all it is. If you want to guarantee you'll get your bike replaced if it's stolen, go buy bike insurance. That's what it's for. Buy a lock because it's a good lock.

Comments about OnGuard PitBull Mini LS U-Lock:
The lock is ok but the anti theft protection is pretty much a scam...they charge you per year and if you read the fine print they have all sorts of loopholes.
