Comments about Ruffwear Web Master Dog Harness:
Carry handle could be further forward over dog's shoulders.
XLge size seems like a large, but then I only have had large dogs. Little small for 100lb shepherd, wouldn't fit a larger dog, even though it's a Lge/XLge size.

Comments about Ruffwear Web Master Dog Harness:
I was looking for a car harness for my poodle-cross that wouldn't end up choking her if she fell off the seat in a sudden stop. She also chews leashes, so was looking for something sturdy. We've had this for about 8 months now, and still loving it - it still fits; she chews on it, but it hasn't fallen apart; she doesn't mind wearing it -- all in all, worth the expense.

Comments about Ruffwear Web Master Dog Harness:
this item is fantastic, it's a comfortable easy fit, my boys absolutely love it. Great for long walks or hiking. My only complaint is that it only comes in red. Would like to see more colors.

Comments about Ruffwear Web Master Dog Harness:
I got this for my dog who was limping badly, and I didn't want to take the chance of jerking her neck around in case it was nerve-related. Also, she is dog-aggressive and tends to do wild flips when we are out on a walk and she sees another dog; I wanted a better measure of control in emergencies. Third, she tends to escape from everything except her martingale collar (including previous harnesses), so I needed an escape-proof harness.
This harness fits the bill. The loop for the leash attachment is on the top of the back, completely taking the neck out of the picture. She does pull a bit more now, but we are working on that.
There is a handy "handle" at the top of the harness which I believe is meant to help lift your dog in climbing/rugged situations. I find it very handy for restraining her when she starts doing her wild flips! I also used the handle to help her along a few times when she was limping particularly badly (she is not limping anymore).
Lastly and most importantly, she CANNOT escape this harness (she has tried!). She can back out of anything (as previously mentioned) but this thing is very secure (but still lightweight, and from what I can tell, comfortable).
Great product!

Comments about Ruffwear Web Master Dog Harness:
One of my dogs, a border collie, would make lightning-fast escapes from whatever harness I had tried whenever she saw something interesting on her walks. She has been using the Ruff Wear harness for about a year now, and she hasn't escaped once. She also seems to walk a little more proudly in her cool-looking harness.
