I recently traveled to Colombia and this purse was great! It is very lightweight and was able to accomodate everything I needed while traveling abroad. It has one small zippered pocket with a carabiner for keys. I don't know if the length of the strap has changed since that first reviewer wrote about it, but it fit comfortably across my body no problem. That is how I wore it for my entire trip. I would highly recommend this bag for a lightweight travel purse.

I already own a few shopping bags from ChicoBag (the kind that you roll up into a pocket so you can keep it on your keyring or in your car for when you go grocery shopping). They're great at these little expandable bags, so I jumped at the chance with this purse. It's got a really neat expandable feature with two drawstrings on the sides (you loosen it to make the purse deeper).

The only problem I see, and in my opinion it is a fatal flaw that ChicoBag could easily fix, is that the shoulder strap is very short. They don't use D-rings; it's a very simple sash-type strap and you tie a knot to adjust the length of your shoulder strap. The problem is, at its longest, this is a standard shoulder bag; IT IS NOT A CROSSBODY. Given how large this purse can be, the folks at ChicoBag really need to add another 12-18 inches on the strap. That way it could be worn either as a shoulder bag or a cross-body.

I wound up returning mine. When you don't have a lot of weight in your purse, the shoulder strap tends to fall off the shoulder. The solution is to wear it as a crossbody but alas, you can't do that unless you want the purse to ride up near your armpit.

If/when they lengthen the shoulder strap, I will be giving this another try. Because otherwise, this is really one amazing and cute purse.
