This product does exactly what it says. Very balanced with an easy learning curve, very comfortable. I originally purchased a 10'4 which holds up to 170lbs and it was a little too small. This 11'4 holds my weight comfortably (175-180) and is easy to handle. It's close to the SUP's that you can rent and will provide a forgiving balance to the beginner. Great first paddle board.

Love the paddle board, however I would have bought the women's version which is 10'6 vs. 11'4 - and weighs half the weight of the 11'4 version. I weigh 118 and it's tough removing it from the water and trying to protect the fin on bottom. Also, I would have purchased a model with handles on front or sides. No handles - only hand insert in center. Another difficult feature for handling. As far as water function, it turns very well compared to other brands and it moves thru the water at a rapid rate, especially with a good paddle. (Werner Paddle). Love it!
