The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Showers Pass Club Convertible 2 Bike Rain Pants - Men's:
I use this and a rain jacket to stay dry on rainy days, and I am very happy with the result. Last time I used the set up the rain was pouring down, not just a drizzle... no complaints.

I usually use this while riding to work. I usually wear it in full on the way to work, riding in the morning chill, and as a shorts on my way back when it gets warmer in the evening. I like the flexibility and it fits perfect.

A great pant with a nice slim fit, though it's still big enough to fit over pants or shorts if you need them too. They are a little heavier than I thought they'd be — you'll be pretty toasty if it's hot outside. Tehy breath well, though, and I love the flex in the knees.
Order a size smaller than you normally would, though. I'm 5'11" tall with a 32" waist and 32" inseam. I went with a small and they are just about perfect, though they certainly couldn't be any smaller on me or they would be too small. Granted, I like a more snug fit, but I bet the medium would have felt too big.
The zip off function is nice for when the rain stops and you want to get a little more ventilation while riding.

Comments about Showers Pass Club Convertible 2 Bike Rain Pants - Men's:
A really nice pair of rain pants - probably the best I've owned yet. Completely waterproof and (!) does not get too hot on the inside. Impressive.
I was pretty shocked and disappointed by the sizing although I really wasn't able to try these on prior to purchase. I have a 36 inch waist and went with the XL due to SP's sizing guidelines. Big mistake - these pants are like colossal clown pants in this size. Easily roomy enough to fit someone with a 42 inch waist. There is no drawstring tightening although you may use a belt or suspenders to keep them from falling off of you in use.
Not sure of the other reviewer here but I can confirm that these pants are stretchy and well articulated for riding. I mean, they're bike oriented rain pants for cryin out loud. They excel at their intended use and I have no complaints other than the sizing chart snafu. 2 thumbs up (as soon as I exchange these anyway.)

While these are very adequate to keep you dry, I actually had to return these because there was no flexibility. These pants lack any type of stretchy material that would be practical for riding.
