I use this kayak to take my young kids out on a lake that ranges from glass-smooth to choppy. I love this kayak because it is light (I can easily carry it up and down the hills between the water and the parking lot). It's easy to strap to my car (which has no racks). And most importantly it performs well. My expectations were low give that this is an inflatable. But, it's fast, tracks well, and is very stable. The cost was low as well (relative to the hard kayaks). I love this one and plan to get another so that my wife can come out and join us on the water.

We like to kayak when camping near a lake or river but tired of lugging our heavy hard shell kayaks with us. We found this inflatable kayak to be easy to inflate and deflate and very easy to store compactly in our RV so that it is always with us when camping. It does require one of two air pumps with special fittings made by the kayak manufacture to inflate and deflate. We recommend the "Advanced Elements Double Action Hand Pump".
