We are family ranging from 11 year old to dad at 6'6". We are all able to use this paddle with the adjustment. The adjustment is so easy to use and seems strong. It's light weight. Love it!

Liked that they are a NW company and made in USA.

Almost bought a carbon fiber paddle for the weight but went with this one becuase of the adjustment so my wife could use it as well. (CF is more expensive as well)

The unplanned benefit was shortening it up on the fly when moving from cruising ocean swells to riding waves. Adjustment is simple and quick.

You do have to take it apart and wash it out with clean water after salt water - easy to do but an added step.

There is a small squared-offed ledge where the outside shaft meets the inside. It took out a small chunk of the back of my thumb when I crashed hard in a wave. Nothing serious but they should round it off some more.

Happy with my purchase.
