I love this so-called blue color, which to me is cobalt purple. It is the best color ever, if you ask me, but the comfort just wasn't there when comparing with the Patagonia and Eddie Bauer down sweaters. I opted for the Patagonia even those their colors we not as appealing to me.

This is a beautiful lightweight jacket. It was exactly what I needed for everyday Winter wear. The jacket fits perfectly my petite size and I've received a lot of compliments about it. The color is actually purple and quite fashionable.

Marmot nailed the colors but the shape of this coat is way off. It fits smallish in the chest but the real problem is the bottom. It is wide and cold air shoots right up. What a shame they screwed this. As I said the purple and red-violet are very attractive and those would have sold me alone if it had fit. I would have bought one of each.

I was looking for a casual, but nice down jacket for the 40-50 degree winter months where I live. I tried on over 10 jackets. After the first one I purchased had a major defect and I deciding between this and the Patagonia Ultralight. I went with this one. I am 5', 120lbs and have a high wasitline. Overall I liked the fit of this on me. This jacket is a little boxy in the top half and has a nice fit on the bottom half. It hits a little below my bottom. I usually wear a S but purchased a M because the S was too tight on my hips. It is purple not blue. I would recommend trying it on to make sure it fits the way you want.

I got this jacket last winter after moving up to Seattle from sunny California. Overall it's a good down jacket--not too bulky, good warmth, and packable. I settled on this jacket because it was great value on sale, but haven't been crazy about it because it's cut very straight looks boxy through the torso, as if for a guy, and has sleeves that are too short if you have normal length arms and are going for a smaller fit. Also wish it had some kind of trim on the wrist elastic instead of the same fabric, which feels rough when bunched up. Not the right jacket if you're looking for a feminine fit.
