    Comments about Surftech Universal 12' Stand Up Paddleboard:

    As mentioned in the Amundson 11'10" review I have both boards as well as the 11'6" Universal and a Hemel Sidewalker. If you are say north of 250# I would say this and the Amundson should be on your short list. The SurfTech's construction method is really nice and while it does clean a little harder due to not being painted it is also more durable in that regard. Wax it first thing and cleaning is no longer much of an issue. I like the ride of the Amundson slightly better but you cannot go wrong with either.
