Comments about Coleman CPX 6 Duo Lantern:
So glad I bought this at REI. I decided to use my REI rebate and 20% off coupon to purchase this lantern. I had comparison shopped this with other retailers and thought the only difference was the color. Turns out that wasn't the only difference. This is a "Coleman signature outdoor gear", which I guess means it is of better quality than regular Coleman products. The "signature" lantern is rated at 200 lumen's, and the panels at 90 lumen's. The "other Coleman" is rated at 95 lumen's of light as a lantern, 48 lumen's each in separate panels.
So with this REI lantern you get twice the lumen's. The light of this lantern is more comparable to the quad version. Buy it at REI and buy it right.

Comments about Coleman CPX 6 Duo Lantern:
This lantern is great for use around the campsite while cooking or playing cards at night. There is plenty of light and the batteries last several nights without having to change batteries. I recommend getting the "dual" unit instead of the "quad" because there is more light and you can utilize the 6v rechargeable power pack. It can be recharged from 110v as well as a car lighter socket. We don't have much use for the removable lantern aspect, but its nice to have in a pinch, when you misplace your flashlight. I recommend this unit with the battery pack option.
