Comments about Emotion Kayaks Glide Sport Kayak:
I have had this boat for 2 years. I have used it many times in the 2 years prob around 20 times.
You won't win any races with this boat, it is slow. The outside is a rough, not smooth this is what I think makes it slow. The inside storage was enough for me to camp 4 days out of.
I recommend adding deck hold-downs or a deck storage kit. if you are going to camp out of it.
I does not track very well. The boat is super stable there is no way you could roll it, this is also prob why it tracks so bad.
It is tall on the water a breeze will move it well, the wind will take you sailing.
I use this kayak to fish out of, and while it is slow if you are in shape and an avid paddler you can keep up with better boats it just takes more energy.
I'm comparing this boat with my other kayaks a Tsunami SP, and a REMIX XP9.

Comments about Emotion Kayaks Glide Sport Kayak:
Bought this kayak for my girlfriend since it was one of few she could comfortably get her legs into in this price range. She is 6' and I'm 6'2", we both fit into it easily, and there is plenty of room for dry bags inside the boat. It's a very stable kayak, good for beginners, but it doesn't track very well. Also, there are a lot of sharp edges and small finish issues that take away from the quality of the boat. Overall not a bad deal for the price though, especially on sale.

Comments about Emotion Kayaks Glide Sport Kayak:
I had to buy my husband a kayak so he could join me and my Emotion Bliss! He is 5'11" and 165 lbs, so even though I love my Bliss, we knew it wasn't big enough for him. He sat in a few different kayaks and after some research, he decided on the Glide. It is lightweight and very stable. He even uses it for fishing our local lakes and streams. It isn't as effortless as my Bliss, but it is fast and fun.

Comments about Emotion Kayaks Glide Sport Kayak:
My wife and I bought two of the Emotion Glide Kayaks for use on lakes. Storage is an issue for us so we opted for these due to their size and relatively light weight. The Glide Sport is well constructed and offers better seating than others that we reviewed in this price/category. They easily fit on top of my subcompact auto.
While they are easy to paddle and maneuver, they do not track well. Strong breezes can easily blow you off course. However, if you are looking for a solid, entry-level kayak to use on flat water - these are terrific.
