The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Guess I'm just adding to the pile here. Liked the chair, lightweight and comfortable but it snapped like a twig at the same rivet point the third time I used it.

Comments about Lafuma Micro Pop Up Chair:
When looking for a backpacking chair in store this one felt the sturdiest and best built. Very comfortable and supposedly supported up to 250lbs (im 190). It packed down small and was easy to strap to my pack. I took it on a 13 mile hike down assateague island to film the wild ponys. In the sand it seemed to be holding up great. Except i started to notice that the top corners of the fabric looked to be stretching thin (still was functional though). It made it through the trek but the next time i brought it out, to a camp fire with friends, it didnt last but 20 minutes. It snapped right at the rivet point where others have pictured below. I wouldnt recommend this chair at all. Too bad because i really liked the design and feel.

Comments about Lafuma Micro Pop Up Chair:
I mostly use this chair to carry out to a pond on the back of our property to sit in the shade and breeze to read in. It is very lightweight, fairly comfortable for me at 6' 3" 220 lbs. I also used it on a canoe camping trip for same purpose. It's a compromise, small and light and a bit less comfortable than a larger chair. It has held up well with a lot of use, several days a week through the summer for a couple of hours a day.

Comments about Lafuma Micro Pop Up Chair:
We needed new chairs, we like them low to the ground. This is good for camping, keeps you close to the fire and out of the smoke, and good for concerts, low as to not block others. Believing that sometimes if you pay a little bit more you will get a quality product. Save you money. As with other reviewers our chairs broke. The first one broke with me in it metal bar broke sending me sprawling. The second one, like other reviewers, the mesh ripped.
We have had these chairs since June. First one broke in June second one made it to December. Get the REI brand better quality for the money

I wish I could give it a zero. I took this chair out camping this last weekend and within 2 hours the chair had broken. The aluminum braces on the back snapped in half. I thought that it would be great as light as it was.

It goes to the beach, to the campground and to the movies on the lawn and seems to be happy anywhere. And I am comfy getting in it, getting out of it and simply sitting.

Comments about Lafuma Micro Pop Up Chair:
Bought a set of these chairs at the beginning of July, and used them constantly throughout the following weeks: at picnics, campouts, town fireworks, etc. I was thrilled at first with their weight and compactness, and comfort, too, until I noticed the back of my arms felt raw and scratched. I am not a heavy person, but in less than a month, the plastic mesh "fabric" which stretches over the chairs' frames started to fail. It had frayed at the corners, exposing widening holes and stinging splinters of plastic mesh. I'm very disappointed to be returning these. If only the fabric were sturdier, I'd give Lafuma's Micro chair a 10 out of 10.

Comments about Lafuma Micro Pop Up Chair:
Bought it June 16th and sent my son to camp with it. It was very expensive, but lightweight and comfortable. Yesterday was visiting day..."Mom, my chair broke the first week." The aluminum tube is broken right through at the pivot/rivet point. Looking closely at it, it seems amazing that the aluminum is sheared right through. Going back to REI tomorrow, hope they don't disappoint me, too.

Comments about Lafuma Micro Pop Up Chair:
Love this chair for hiking to a picnic, or just leaving in the car for an impromtu outing. It fits the body perfectly, amazingly light and compact, and requires on setup or carrying bag. Really wish they would make it in more interesting/fun colors for the beach/picnic outings!
