Rated5out of5byPJKfromConsistently ComfortableI have yet to take this into the wild, but I do have it set up on the floor of my 7 month old daughter's room. She's teething, and I've spent quite a few nights on it over the past few weeks. I inflated it once during this timeframe and it has yet to lose air to an uncomfortable degree. Outstanding! Looking forward to testing it on a backpacking trip to the surrounding islands.

Rated4out of5byRockyRaccoonfromAt last, a good night's sleepI'm getting too old to sleep on thin foam any more. I toss and turn at home on a regular mattress, so sleeping on the ground is an extra challenge.
I tried: two layers of Z-Lites, Prolite, Prolite Plus, and NeoAir Xlite in the store. Except for the NeoAir, all too thin. The NeoAir was too noisy.
The 40th Anniversary pad is just right for me. First night out, I slept through the whole night for the first time in years. And I slept much warmer than with the Z-Lite or Gossamer Gear Nightlight pad I was using.
As samhandwich22 commented, the valve is peeling. Minor annoyance.
This added about 13 ounces to my base weight. Since poor sleep can create serious problems, it's worth it for me.
