        This is such a fun and comfortable shoe. I've always put comfort first, but now I can have the best of both worlds. They run about a half size bigger than Keen sandals so I ordered a half size down so they fit great. I also added a thin liner under the insole to give a little more cushion. I haven't worn them when it's raining so I don't know how they would be in wet conditions. Every time I wear them I get comments like "cute shoes!" or "where did you get those shoes, I love them!"

              I'm buying my third pair of Keen Harvest MJs. They're just that good! I wear mine almost daily, and constantly get compliments on how cute they are. The insoles that come with them are rather flimsy, but are easily replaced. (I use Superfeet insoles)
              These are rather loose fitting with a very roomy toe box. I usually wear and 8 1/2, but order an 8 in the Harvest MJ and usually wear thick socks. I wouldn't recommend these for hiking or rough terrain, as your feet would slip around, but they are perfect for walking on pavement. I've worn them at conventions where I'm on my feet all day without complaint. Since they're slip ons, they would be great for traveling and going through airport security too.
              Even though these are canvas (I don't know how the rice-bag version hold up) they don't stain easily, and are at least water resistant. As long as water doesn't spill over the top of the shoe, your feet will stay dry on rainy days.
