The Keen Sunport girls' sandals sport an easy fit, and are light, airy and meant for fun in the sun.

These sandals are constructed out of molded EVA for lightweight comfort; uppers don't absorb water and are easy to clean
Polyester webbing eyelets are long-lasting and work with the elastic 1-pull lacing system with cordlocks to secure feet comfortably
Instep loops aid entry and exit; patented rubber Toe Guards protect little toes
EVA footbeds are custom shaped to provide ample cushioning and arch support

We bought these for our daughter for a family vacation that had some light hiking, beach camping, and some water sports. We were all fans of traditional keens (the H2's) and these plastic ones were really cheap on sale. But the plastic is tough and has no lining. Because of the sandals' style, as my daughter moved her feet, the shoes pinched her skin and within a day into our trip, she had really bad blisters. She had no other sandals or water shoes for the trip so it was a horrible experience. Maybe for every day, stay in the house, the sandals may be OK (although I don't see the point of buying keens for that), but if your child is active and will be running or moving a lot in these, they are terribly uncomfortable.

We bought these for our very active 8 year old, and from the moment she put them on she loved them. They are very comfy and durable. Great for every day wear, as well as 'city hikes', cycling, etc.
