      I have happily worn quite a number of Smartwool products over the years, and always found them deliciously soft against my skin, but this time, the baselayer top was scratchy enough that I decided to return it.

          I own four pieces of SmartWool and I am in love with each and every piece. This is my only "microweight" piece and I found it perfect for hiking while in the Pacific Northwest. I was able to stay dry and cool while hiking vigorously in the sun. When it became cold and damp out, my shirt helped keep me warm. I found it more effective to wear it next to my skin.

            My husband and I live in Minnesota and I wear this shirt downhill skiing. It is great for layering. It is lightweight and doesn't bunch up. We also go hiking every summer out west and this makes for a great shirt to keep off bugs and keep you cool at the same time. It is lightweight, breathable, and stylish all at the same time.
