Comments about Marmot Sawtooth Sleeping Bag:
I replaced a Mountain Hardware Phantom with this sack. I specifically looked for a bag with an inside adjustable collar and I'm glad I did.
I also looked for a large, long, wide. I'm 6'3" @240. There is plenty of room even for me and that lessens the cold spots I had with the Phantom.
I sleep really warm in a Hilleberg Tarra down to zero.
Spot on Marmot, spot on.

Comments about Marmot Sawtooth Sleeping Bag:
This is the first down bag I've owned and I'm glad I made the investment. I slept out at 9,000 feet in the Sierras and had a great, warm night's sleep. The bag packs up very small too so it is ideal for backpacking. Great product that I would recommend to others!

Comments about Marmot Sawtooth Sleeping Bag:
Exactly what I was looking for in a good, lightweight sleeping bag for 3-season backpacking. It packs small, is lightweight, and is pretty warm. The only con was that it's a bit confining, but I'm a pretty big guy (6' 240 lbs) so that's a common problem for me with most sleeping bags. Overall I think I made a good choice and after several backcountry trips I'd happily buy it again.

Comments about Marmot Sawtooth Sleeping Bag:
I just got this bag for my birthday and totally fell in love with it! I have yet to take this bag out on the trail, but am very excited to do so. I got in the bag to test out warmth, size, loft etc. and I felt every muscle in my body relax into this warm, soft, roomy down bag. Wow! I almost can't believe how inefficient my old bag (old no-name +50 degree bag) was until this major upgrade. Keep it up Marmot! I am very impressed!

Comments about Marmot Sawtooth Sleeping Bag:
Bought this because my North Face was just not comfortable. There's not much to say about this one besides it is awesome, comfortable, and not that big or heavy. I can fit it in the bottom pouch of my 65 litre backpack without issue. Sure you could get smaller, but I am 6'1" so I need something spacious enough (don't like the mummy effect).

Comments about Marmot Sawtooth Sleeping Bag:
I love this bag, although it is one of my first bags I have ever had, I freaking love it. It packs down very small, and I use this bag whenever I sleep. I've had this bag for about a week now, and I think it is money well spent. I love camping and usually go every weekend just up the canyon. This bag is perfect for backpacking if your one of those people that likes to pack small, (as do I), even though it is a little bit pricey you will not be disappointed. I also love the down material in it. very comfortable. It has not let me down yet! I cannot wait to conquer the mountains once again this summer!

Comments about Marmot Sawtooth Sleeping Bag:
I have used this bag for 2-years. I've taken it on my Mt. Whitney trip and several other epic multi-day trips. It definitely keeps me warm. For Sierra Nevada summers, maybe even too warm. I find that I have to keep the bag unzipped and vent a little heat from time to time. The heat build up tends to make one sweat, which is never comfortable in a nylon bag. I find I actually stay more comfortable wearing a t-shirt to keep my bare skin separated from the nylon. But that is a minor nuasance. I got this bag to replace one of the old Down Fat Cats. That was a heavy bag. This one is very light in comparison and packs down to a very small size with my compression sack. I love it!

Comments about Marmot Sawtooth Sleeping Bag:
I really like this bag. It's a little heavier and bulkier that I would like, but I can live with it. What I like the most is the teardrop shape that gives you more room in the upper half of the bag. That, and Marmot's attention to detail and quality workmanship make this bag a winner. Plus, you can't beat the price.

Comments about Marmot Sawtooth Sleeping Bag:
I am a avid backpacker and for the weight to money ratio this is the perfect sleeping bag. I have the new updated(2012) version of this bag and it is awesome. I used this already late April here in Michgan and temps were down to 26 degrees and I was comfortably warm with only a base layer and a hat on. I originally bought the regular size but that was a little bit to restricting for me. I have broad shoulders but I am only 5 ft 7 inches, so I exchanged it for the long version and it is perfect. Have no worries about this bag it is very warm and a very acceptable weight for the price. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to save a little cash but yet still get a very high quality product.
