        I bought this unit for occasional camping with family and scouts. The coffee pot kept boiling over because of really poor temperature control of the burners and made a huge mess. Also, the grates warped from simmering soup for 20 min. It was disappointing.

        Used this stove for 1.5 years about 20 times a month. One burner knob adjuster could adjust to any flame very easily and quickly, the other .... not so much. Besides that, it has been a great stove. If you read that first sentence right, that would be close to 240+ times (yep you read it correctly). In my area, a gas stove is much less expensive than running an electric stove. Have cooked just about everything from steaks, stir-frys, pasta, etc... Started out as cooking at home on the outside stove in preparation for backpack cooking on my msr whisperlite ... was a good way to learn how to control the heat and just developed into a natural method to cook.

          Got this unit as a gift. Was super excited to get it out for the quick trips and backpacking adventures. After i opened it, it has a broken knob from shipping. Contacted Camp Chef and they were great and sent a new knob out right away! Great customer service, and great unit.

            I love this stove because of the price - BUT - the grill was kinda bent and wonky - it took me a few minutes to bend it into shape so that it would sit right. That said - the rest of the product looked good.

            If you are going to use a stove a couple times a year - GET THIS ONE - if you want to use it all the time I would upgrade. I love the Red color and BTU output.

            I car camp with the kids a few times a year and with just a bit of care I expect this stove to last me for years to come.

                This unit failed the 5th time out. Camp Chef has been unresponsive after several attempts to get help. Good Luck if you decide to purchase one
