Comments about Mountain Hardwear Typhoon Rain Jacket - Women's - 2011 Closeout:

Finally got the heavy downpour I needed to test this rain jacket and it kept me dry. I love the fit because it's stylish, not baggy and yet I can wear a fleece under it and still be comfortable. I am only 5' 2" and the sleeve length still works okay for me due to the velcro fasteners.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Typhoon Rain Jacket - Women's - 2011 Closeout:

I bought this for my wife. I bought an XL thinking this would be fine with plenty of room, but found the Women's XL is more like a Men's Medium in the chest area. Looks nice quality and my wife would have loved to have kept it but its way too small and no XXL is available. These need to cut larger to allow for a fleece. Petite women only should buy this jacket.

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Typhoon Rain Jacket - Women's - 2011 Closeout:

It was a nice jacket. It looked good and a nice color red. It seemed to have run a little small. I would have ordered a large if I knew so that a bulky sweater could be worn underneath. I normally wear a womens sm to med in most cloths. It did seem like the jacket would make krinkling noise while walking. I did not feel this was good if I wanted to be quiet in the woods. Unfortunatly, I returned it for these reasons. I never had a gortez rain coat. Maybe they are all like that ?

Comments about Mountain Hardwear Typhoon Rain Jacket - Women's - 2011 Closeout:

I purchased this for a three week work trip in the woods. We worked through 4 solid days of rain and this jacket kept me perfectly dry. It's cute and comfortable. I'm 5'4, 120 pounds, and usually wear an extra small or small and the jacket in a small fit perfectly.
