            This capri scort is VERY cute. But, the fit is slightly odd. They want to slide down at the waist. Even though I feel like they are the right size. It fits well everywhere except at the waist, where they want to slide down.

              love the cruiser skorts; I have 3 and they were perfect for a bike tour in France. Very excited to try the the knickers for the cooler weather here at home. LOVE THEM! Fit great and they are comfortable. Wore them for the first time on a 20 mile ride along the coast and they were perfect. No chafing and just the right amount of padding.

              I'm not sure if I'm going to keep this cycling skort. I have a Novara cycling skort that I LOVE and REI discontinued it. I wish I had purchased more than one. I was hoping I could find something similar but with knicker length shorts under the skirt. This skort appeared to fit the bill, but I'm not totally in love with it yet.

              The fit is off. I have a narrow waist and wider hips, and the elastic at the waist is gappy. I don't think there would be an issue with the waist slipping down to levels of exposure. It's more of a criticism of comfort and appearance (the latter which might be remedied by simply making sure to wear my longer length cycling tops).

              I would say overall, it's true to size, but if you have an hourglass or pear figure, you might not like this skirt. I am a size 8-10, and the large fit infinitely better than the x-large. The x-large was humongous, and I was swimming in it. The skirt was practically down to my knees (I'm 5'6). The problem with the fit with the large is limited to the waist area. I'm not even going to bother trying on a medium because I know it would be too small. The tights fit fine. It's just the darn waistband!

              The padding seems sufficient--much more substantial than many of the Terry skorts that are out there. But, I haven't decided whether I'm going to keep it, so I can't testify as to how it feels while riding.

              The concept is cute-- I might give these a try since REI has such an awesome return policy. If they are comfy on the saddle, I'll probably overlook the slight gapping issue at the waist.
