Comments about Sportline Cardio 660 Heart Rate Monitor - Men's:

I was looking for a HRM that had a stop watch that was under $100. I found this and thought, AWESOME! tried it out on a hike, and it was great on the way up. On the way down, it started acting funny, and finally stopped giving me my heart rate. Everything else worked, but the strap. When I got home I checked the battery, only to find that sweat had got into the device and ruined it. Maybe I just got unlucky, I was sweating a lot! But still, It should have been sealed better. I really liked the rest of the device. It has all the functions that I would need, but it wasnt sweat proof.

Comments about Sportline Cardio 660 Heart Rate Monitor - Men's:

I am starting to exercise consistently after a long period of no exercise. I bought this watch in order to keep an eye on my heart rate and calories. For me it simply does not work. I pair the watch with the heart rate strip and I get a correct heart rate of say 115 and after a while it shows as 230. I cannot keep it to consistently show my correct heart rate, given the same level of exercise. I bought based on the other reviews but maybe a got a "lemon". Otherwise it is very easy to use and set up, if only it worked.

Don't know if the watch or the strip has a low battery, I am not getting any indication such is the case. So I am afraid that I have to return it.

Comments about Sportline Cardio 660 Heart Rate Monitor - Men's:

I'll echo the other reviewer's comments. The Sportline 660 is a nice product, easy to use and gives you the information you want in a good-sized display.

I use this item to monitor bike workouts performed on an indoor trainer. While I do high-intensity intervals, it can also be used to pace yourself during long, steady rides. And having the heart rate, timer and calories diplayed on one screen allows you to monitor progress without the need to switch views.

My only complaint deals with placement of the side buttons. The layout is similar to a Timex Iron Man but easier to press the "opposite" button while scrolling through the display. It takes a little getting used to and the big, top button is not a problem, so it's a very minor inconvenience--not a deal breaker.

I've been working out with the Sportline for over a month, at least 3 times a week, and I'm very pleased with its performance.

Comments about Sportline Cardio 660 Heart Rate Monitor - Men's:

If you can set an alarm clock you can figure this monitor out. Main screen gives you time, day of week, month and date. Click a button and the 2nd screen gives you timer, heart rate, calories burned. This is figured out by you entering in male/female, height, age, weight. It will give you the option to change the default 65%-85% heart rate zone, but I didn't. I just wanted a heart rate monitor so when I'm on a cardio piece of equipment it will give me a simple readout. Much to my surprise with "Life Fitness" and "Precor" brands it synced-up with the machines' heart rate display. It has a nice one button light for night walking. I have found that I push myself a little more to stay in "the zone". If your trying to loose weight or if you're already in shape and don't care about intricate details of a workout to be synced-up to your computer. I can't recommend this one enough. It's only $10 more than the Polar base F1. With the few more bits of information it gives you. Plus the light and accurate readings. You can't go wrong. It's also coded so there is no cross-info with other monitors. Nice to see a company keeping it simple and making something that is user friendly.
