My Jack Russell loves these bones. I get the small size for her. The bones are just the right about of tough and chewy, shes a real monster sometimes. They don't get stuck in her teeth either. The only concern is they may stain delicate surfaces, like suede. My pup chewed one on the couch and it left residue from her saliva. This was easily cleaned off, but some surfaces may not be so easy. I love my dog and she loves Zukes, they are the only treats she flips out over! I also wrote the company thanking them for such great dog treats and they sent about 30 samples!!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
