    Works well.

    Reheated some leftover stew at 6:00AM. Remained hot for lunch. Couldn't finish all of it, so took the rest home. Was cleaning out the thermos at 8:00PM and it was still warm/hot. I was amazed it was able to retain the heat even when it was only a quarter full.

    Note: Before filling in the morning, I ran the sink with hot water to preheat the thermos.

    Although it was snowing that day, the thermos was never in a cold place for very long. Just room temperature.

    We'll see how it holds up with some chili during snowboarding.

    It's a bit odd to clean because it's long. Luckily we have a brush for baby bottles that I use.

    With the gasket as supplied and as in the picture, I filled the bottle with water and laid it on its side. It leaked. I turned the gasket upside down. It no longer leaks. I will try an industrial o-ring when I can. It looks like it takes a 2 ¼" ID, 2 5/8" OD. I do think that will work. I am looking forward to taking chowder and dumplings in it. I have not tried that yet. I cannot get my hand inside to clean it.
