This looked like a great deal until I picked it up at the store. It wasn't able to zip around my 15" laptop. I have no idea how they can claim it could fit a 17".

My daughter started using it in September when the school year began. The fabric along the zipper ripped within the first month, then another tear developed shortly thereafter. Thinking we got a lemon, I took it back and exchanged it for the same style pack. The same thing happened again. It's now December--I'm surprised that a child could go through two Merrell *anythings* in three months.
It gets an extra star for the cute design and multiple pockets (in spite of the fact that there's no water bottle pocket on the exterior).
