Comments about Giro Reverb Bike Helmet:
I ride about 60 miles a week for recreation and exercise. For me this helmet is a perfect fit. Lightweight and comfortable, I forget I'm wearing it Comes with a visor. The only improvement I'd suggest would be to make the visor a bit larger.

Comments about Giro Reverb Bike Helmet:
Bought it for my Catrike after trying on many and finding the head band adjusting knob that is commonly used on most helmets, interfering with the head rest. This helmet is very lite and cool.
I tested it out on my road bike and found that you have to sinch it up tight or it will slip back
on my head by the wind. Never had that problem on the trike. The visor needs to be longer when using it on the road bike. Thought about replacing it with the front of a baseball cap.
I would recommend this helmet to a casual rider
or a recumbent trike rider but not to road biker
or mountain biker.

Comments about Giro Reverb Bike Helmet:
I have serious doubts about the ability of this helmet to stay on your head in an impact.
With it snugged down tight, it can be easily pushed back onto the back of your head or off to the side by a glancing impact (or one finger), leaving the front or side of your head exposed for the second impact. I compared it with my older helmets (Bell, Vetta, and MSR, going back to the '80s) and found this one much worse in this regard. The problem is that the chin strap is poorly designed and does not allow adjustment other than length. My older helmets all have chin straps that come straight down from the helmet in front of the ears, and other pieces that go back under the ears to keep the back of the helmet in place (or they allow one to adjust the straps that way). That way, the front of the helmet is held down.
I regret that I didn't test the straps a bit more seriously in the store. Now, I might be too embarassed to take it back to the store, after having bought it to replace the previous one that I took back for related reasons (also a Giro).
Aside from the little issue of keeping it straight on your head, seems like a pretty nice helmet.
