Great jacket, packs small and good to stuff into a pack to make sure that you have the ten essentials. Is waterproof, I have put it to the test hiking east of the cascades in early spring when it was too warm for a larger water-proof parka. This was tucked conveniently in my pack and performed well when I needed it. It is thin though, I haven't had any trouble with mine yet but I imagine that it may not be as tough. But I guess that is why they call it the ultra light and not the ultra tough.

Use it every time it rains outside.
The pit vents are very large and effective; they zip/unzip from either end of the vent.
Love the quality of the zipper flaps and hood brim.
