Comments about Ruffwear Ruff Wear Quinzee Insulated Dog Jacket:
My Dog spends a lot of time outside when its about 40 degrees and colder. This coat is able to easily keep her warm. I can put my hand under the coat and she is very warm even after hours of being in the cold.
Most of the time she does not like to wear coats but this one she is not adverse to wearing, it keeps her warm and because of the smooth soft material I believe she likes how comfortable it is.
The RuffWear coats use snap-in type buckles and NOT velcro. I have had many dog coats and her old coats (before we found RuffWear) use velcro and they degrade quickly within a year and start to become useless. The RuffWear snap buckles won't degrade. They are adjustable in length so I can make the perfect fit.

Comments about Ruffwear Ruff Wear Quinzee Insulated Dog Jacket:
This is an excellent jacket for when the temperature dips a bit on this cold backcountry nights. My 1 year old boxer doesnt seem to mind wearing it around the campsite or when he is sleeping. Even in 20 degree weather, he stays nice and toasty underneath without getting overheated

Comments about Ruffwear Ruff Wear Quinzee Insulated Dog Jacket:
Although we haven't had too many days requiring these this season, I do notice a difference in engagement and actively when my dogs have worn these on very cold days. We were concerned about fit on our lanky ladies, but the fit is fine. Some rough play has seen these coats grabbed by the mouth of other dogs, but they haven't torn; I'm impressed with the durability.

Comments about Ruffwear Ruff Wear Quinzee Insulated Dog Jacket:
I've had a lot of best friends (dogs I mean). But all of em have been long coated large dogs(120lbs or more). I got my first short haired dog a few years back, a rescued Amstaff Terrier, and he hates any temp under 60 or so. I'm active all winter, and hated leaving the little guy at home when I went on hikes or up into the mountains to ride my bike or go snowshoeing. The RuffWear jacket has definitely cancelled out his normal shivers, and I noticed him spending alot more time exploring the property in the winter landscape. Hes only come on a few hikes with me since we got this. But he seems a lot more comfortable. It goes on quick and easy(and hes a rambunctious dog) And after a little time to get used to it, he looks forward to it being brought out each time. Good product, great idea in fitment and design. Don't think we could be happier with it!

Comments about Ruffwear Ruff Wear Quinzee Insulated Dog Jacket:
We love this jacket! Our rescued pit is such a baby about going outside in anything besides bright, warm sunshine. This has really helped with the sudden drop in temp in Chicago! I also love that it packs into its own stuff sack! Perfect for bringing it with and not needing it, or vice versa!
The thing I don't love- we like to walk her with a front clip harness. There's no slot to allow this. We can only use a collar.
We haven't used it in terrible weather yet- just a few rain showers and cold evening temps. I'm excited to see how it will hold up over the winter.
