The Black Diamond Factor 110 randonee boots have a moderate flex to give freeride skiers a comfortable ride both inbounds and out.

    • Triax Pro Pebax® frames are made with high torsional stiffness, providing maximum lateral power transfer to drive fat skis and progressive alpinelike flex for downhills
    • Pebax plastic maintains a consistent flex in all temperatures so your boots won't feel stiff on a frigid day
    • Medium-stiff, custom-moldable liners allow for a long-lasting, accurate fit and use a Black Diamond proprietary foam to maintain longevity and warmth
    • Boa Freeride Series lacing system provides a precise and personalized fit that is simple to adjust with the turn of a dial; Boa holds laces tight and secure
    • Liners have articulating zones, insulated bases and a 102mm last width for comfort and performance
    • Ski/walk switch is hassle free with a simple on/off toggle; ski mode locks you into a forward lean position that can be set at 14°, 18° or 22°
    • Boots are built with an overlap cuff design, which produces a natural progressive flex and ankle articulation to drive and steer skis as well as absorb terrain
    • 4 micro-adjustable buckles and a power strap on each boot close the Black Diamond Factor 110 randonee boots comfortably and securely around the feet and legs
    • Equipped with Black Diamond alpine touring outsole blocks for compatibility with all randonee bindings, including tech-style bindings such as Dynafit
    • Alpine DIN outsole blocks with non-slip soles are sold separately

    Black Diamond Factor 110 Randonee Boots - Men's - 2011/2012 is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice boot, (especially if on sale) Note, this review is for Factor 130 boots, not the 110. However they look to be very similar. I got these at the end of last season and when I first tried them on it was a struggle just getting my foot into them. Then they seemed pretty tight. But after I did my own heat molding treatment of the liners, they were easier to get on. After wearing them a few times they are now pretty comfortable. I wear very thin ski socks and my feet stay toasty warm. The walk/ski switch is a little tough to operate with gloves on but that's my only complaint.
