The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Granite Gear Blaze A.C. 60 Ki Pack - Women's:
I completely disagree with what people say about the water bladder pocket. I have a Platypus Hoser 3.0L Reservoir - 100 fl. oz and it fits perfectly into this pack's pocket. Of course it probably won't fit wider ones, but the one that I have literally is perfect and I've never had a problem with the bladder in general.
This pack has served me perfectly well for several weekend long backpacking trips. It's lightweight, holds my gear and keeps the weight off my shoulders! It really is a comfortable pack. Sure, it'll make your back hot, it's back does give some airflow, but I've never seen a pack that didn't make your back sweat.
The belt definitely isn't ridiculously small. It can fit a wide variety of sizes for sure and is nicely padded.
Definitely planning on the Granite Gear Lineloc Top Lid.

Comments about Granite Gear Blaze A.C. 60 Ki Pack - Women's:
As a female avid hiker in my late 40's, I was looking for a sturdy and comfortable ultralight backpack. I thought I would never find the one. From Osprey to Gregory Deva to cottage brands... then came Granite Gear. REI does not usually carry the Small Torso size in the store, so I took a chance and ordered on-line.
I have been using with linelocs pulled to minimize as a day pack and it feels sturdy with breathable back padding, perfect hipbelt and shoulder padding. I hang my SPOT from one loop on the shoulder harness and bandanna from the other. I purchased the optional hipbelt pockets which hold all my extras; snacks, headlamp, flip knife, mace, lip balm, sunscreen, insect rep, Buff. It comes with a medium size waistbelt and I replaced with a large as it runs a bit small. Easy to replace the belt. I also pulled out the plastic backpanel and adjusted for my short torso. Most high-end backpacks do not have torso adjustments, and if they do are very heavy (5-7 lbs).
Just came back from backpacking the Zion Narrows top-down overnight. I loaded with 30-32 lbs of gear inside dry sacks, tent poles in one outside pocket and large Nalgene bottle in other side pocket. The extended top neck area of pack was used to capacity and gear held down with crisscross straps. The pack rode stable as I hiked 20+ miles over river rocks, sand, went bouldering and in the Virgin River with greased bowlingball river rocks, falling into river numerous times. I swam with pack on, took off and floated it across deep pools as I swam, slid/tossed/threw down huge boulders.
It rained all night at the riverside campsite, so in the morning I slide my wet tent into the outside front long mesh pocket along with my used WAG bag... the price you pay for backpacking the Narrows :-|
I tossed the pack onto my shoulder by one shoulder strap as I quickly got on and off buses. All other times I used the lift strap. Pack got home in same condition as it started, except a bit sandy. Buckels are intact, outside stretch webbing has no holes.
My one complaint is the inside hydration pocket is TINY and NARROW. My hand barely slides into the pocket. No way does it hold a water bladder. I use it for smaller flat items. GG should make it expandable or take it out completely to save weight.
I hang the 3L bladder from the lock cord provided at the inside top back panel so it doesn't slip into the pack as I drink.
If you want a lightweight, sturdy, comfortable, multi-day backpack, BUY THIS!

I returned it. I bought the correct size but it was small and cramped, the belt was ridiculously small (I am a small built) and the back was all wrong. I did like the quality and the craftmanship, though, great materials.

Comments about Granite Gear Blaze A.C. 60 Ki Pack - Women's:
I've used this pack for several 3-4 day trips. It is comfortable and super adjustable. The straps are padded and fit well in the shoulders. Waist belt comfortable. Carries well up to 30 lbs. At 20-25 lbs it is a dream! I used the BV solo 450 canister and can carry up to 5 days food in it. The BV 450 fits easily into the pack. My sleeping bag in a compression sack fills the entire bottom of the pack. Back pad is comfortable and not too hot. I like the fact that the back pad is rigid when the pack is fully loaded and helps me keep a good posture and not hunch over going uphill. Drawbacks are because it is lightweight not a lot of pockets for storage. I put my ultralight tent in the vertical outside mesh pocket and use the cords to strap a windbreaker jacket to the outside for quick access. I bought the GG waist belt pocket add on and the lineloc top lid which adds another 10oz but really increases the ability to carry the little things you need during the day like snacks, maps, first aid kit, toiletries etc without having to dig inside your pack. You can strap a foam pad to the lineloc lid top and it also detaches for a day pack but I just use the Blaze as a day pack because it is so light and comfortable. Another drawback is the inside pocket for a reservoir is tight for getting a 2L reservoir in there. It would be hard to carry a larger bear canister and I haven't tried it but you can use the extension collar.

Comments about Granite Gear Blaze A.C. 60 Ki Pack - Women's:
I am a 51 year old backpacker/hiker who has done week long trips with a most excellent Gregory pack that was my staple....but I am getting older and want better food and warmth and lighter gear so I can carry better food, more warmth and comforts. Hubby waited patiently as I periodically tried on various light packs that when loaded pinched my 5'6 125" frame here and there and felt all wrong. Then I read about this pack and blazed a trail to the only store in the area that had one left- Mama Mia! Comfort, room, ultra light, carried my twenty five pound comfort load beautifully on two recent backpacks- one up a steep grade and one on snowy trail-I am in love with this pack- no it does not have the bells and whistles I was sure I would miss but guess what? I did not miss them- I don't even miss the top pack- I strapped some lightweight cup holders on the belt to carry my extras and a water bottle and I was a happy hiker! No pinching, no instability, no dragging on my hips-Super adjustable and really nice stretchy side and back pockets and under 3 pounds! It was amazing to hike with a pack this light versus my heavier load hauling Gregory which I am still keeping for future dream trips of 7 days or longer.-
