Comments about Cordillera Chamonix Insulated Skirt - Special Buy:
I am 5'5" and weigh 136 lbs. The medium size was perfect! It only has one side zipper. It is nice to have at least one side zipper for cross country skiing and biking. It also has a zippered pocket on the left side. So light I forget I am even wearing it. Nice for the winter months with leggings or tights underneath. It was still a little spendy even with 30% off but after receiving it; it was worth the purchase because of the quality, comfort and style. It does not seem to be clingy with static. It is the perfect travel skirt because it packs so small without bulk. It is very difficult to find such a nice insulated skirt and I absolutely love it!

Comments about Cordillera Chamonix Insulated Skirt - Special Buy:
This is a great skirt for late fall in northern Minnesota. It is warm and, when paired with a cute sweater, very flattering. It would have five stars if it were a little longer. The length is great for October November this far north, but below the knees would be fantastic for winter. It packs down very small, so it is a great skirt to travel with.

Comments about Cordillera Chamonix Insulated Skirt - Special Buy:
Love this skirt! I have the REI Nevis jacket and the insulation, thickness, and warmth are similar. Pairing the two turns it into a knee length coat for super cold days.
Not a complaint - but be sure to read their sizing chart. I am usually a medium, but have larger than average hips, so I had to return them for a large.

Comments about Cordillera Chamonix Insulated Skirt - Special Buy:
Delighted to find an INSULATED winter skirt. How cool is that? I love wearing skirts but to find warm outdoor skirts are hard to find. Just bought this one and the Cordillera Snow Flurry down skirt. Love them both. Of the two, this one is a nicer length - going just above the knees. The Snow Flurry one is very short (15.5 inches compared to 20"). But both are cute. depends on what you like.
Nice slick material that goes over leggings, etc. easily. very light material, can hardly tell you have it on - easy to move around, etc. I am 5'6" 160 lbs and the large fits perfectly. Large is for size 12 to 14. I usually take 10-12.
What is great about it is that it is insulated and made to keep you warm.
Can't find anything I don't like about it.

Great skirt for winter, it provides quite a bit of warmth, considering it is not down. Length is just above knee.
