      The construction of the boot, buckling, in and out was fine. I wore them twice to realize they were too tight on my ankle which hit a nerve and was causing my toes to go numb and tingle. So i returned them. If it wasn't for that issue I liked the boot a lot. If you don't have sensative ankles like me you'll love the boot :-)

            There are two different boots pictured. The main picture shows a boot with the text "Custom Shell", which is Salomon's technology allowing the entire boot shell to be heated and custom fit. This is not the boot you will receive.

            The last picture shows a slightly different boot without the Custom Shell text. This is the boot actually being sold.

            A small difference, but important to someone looking for a Custom Shell boot.

              Definetly spend the time and pre-heat the liners first and do the form shape thing @ REI.
              You won't even know your wearing boots if you do.
              Outside ankle bone was a little sensitive...after 3 days of hitting it hard...may have had buckle too tight.
              Thought they might be 1/2 size too small, but if you pound them and form set your heal when breaking them in, they fit snug and perfect in the heal with room in the toes.
              Powder, bumps, high speed cruising, not too soft or too firm, just right.
              We will become great friends!
              Got mine on sale WAY WORTH IT!
