    • V-Rocker™ design energizes edge control under your feet while disengaging tip and tail contact points for a catch-free yet stable feel
    • Easy-riding directional flex provides tail pop and nose resiliency, and allows riders to maintain control and flow through any terrain and conditions

          Comments about Burton Lux V-Rocker Snowboard - Women's - 2011/2012:

I've been riding on and off for 14 years on the same 1998 board. Granted, snowboard technology has come a long way, but this board was amazing. I was instantly a better rider and within a few runs I was going faster than I ever had on a board. It's very responsive and turns quickly enough to do moguls with ease. The biggest change was not having to worry about catching an edge when the board was flat. Very solid board. Highly recommended.

            Comments about Burton Lux V-Rocker Snowboard - Women's - 2011/2012:

I upgraded to this board after 14 years on my old board. What an amazing difference! Apparently there have been some advances in snowboard technology in the intervening years... so I don't want to give all the credit solely to this board, because if you're upgrading from something newer you may not see the dramatic difference I did. I could have my board flat on the ground without worrying about catching an edge and being whipped to the ground. It's very responsive and turns very quickly. After just a few runs on this board I was riding faster than I ever had before. In short, I've got nothing but good things to say about this board...

                Comments about Burton Lux V-Rocker Snowboard - Women's - 2011/2012:

I had gone snowboarding ~3 times over the course of 4 years and decided it was time to get my own board to stop paying those rental fees. Now even though I snowboarded prior to buying my board, I was mostly tumbling down the mountain. Hard to learn when you don't go often!

So I bought the board ~Oct 2011 and gave it my first try at Keystone,CO. I hated myself and my board. I just couldn't get it! I finally figured out that padding was the key to my success! I was so terrified of falling, that no matter how good of a board I had... I was making myself fall.

So this past March, we went to Heavenly @ South Tahoe fully padded up.. and voila! I was almost a pro! ;o)

I can't speak too technical about the board, but I will say it handled very well for me. I was able to do quick turns when I needed to. There were also several times where there were trails that were a bit bumpy. I feel the vRocker technology helped me manage the board through the rough bumps.

Overall, I would buy this board again in a heartbeat!

                  Comments about Burton Lux V-Rocker Snowboard - Women's - 2011/2012:

As the headline says, I really wish that I had listened to the Sales Girl. I would have given it one star, but the Colorado SPrings REI team was very patient and helpful to me (If only I'd heeded that advice). I would consider myself a re-beginner rider (had been 2+ years and I wasn't very good back in the day anyway), so I was lookin for a board to help me get back into boarding. This board had awkward edges which were very hard to keep in a steep turn, which resulted in a nasty crash over a cliff (thank God for helmets). I will definitely be taking it back and going with the board initially recommended to me.
