            These are my first pair of boots. Went to REI and they didn't have any 14s, but I was able to fit well into these Vans in a 13(they have a reputation of running a little bigger). I have used them over a two-day weekend and love them a lot. They're also my first experience with boa lacing systems, and I love it. My toes got a little damp at the end of several hours (and this may be true of all boots?), but otherwise I have no complaints and am very happy with them. They're also cheaper than some other comparable boots.

              Boots feel great, more on the soft side for my liking. Only problem I had was the width is too wide for bindings. Toe issues with a Ride binding and the heel was too wide for a Burton binding I used later on in the day.

                I disagree with the previous review. To give feedback on a product that is over 2 years old on a new product is unfair. I would try calling Vans and see what can be done, its obviously a defect.

                I have had 3 pairs of Encores. Its a great boot for the price. I recommend for anybody.
