SpeedLock™ system offers quick and easy, glove-friendly adjustment of your bindings
Axis™ Gait Efficiency Technology can be adjusted to compensate for individual toe-in and toe-out tendencies in gait, maximizing stride efficiency and overall comfort
Make use of optional instep straps (sold separately) for even greater security; straps stay pliable and easy to adjust in cold temperatures, even when wearing mittens
Steel crampons underfoot not only grip well, but also provide stability and reduce heel drift for an efficient gait

Comments about MSR Lightning Axis 22 Snowshoes - Women's:

These snowshoes are great in every way except one. Although they are only .75 inches less in width than other comparable models, this makes a big difference in stability. It's easy to roll you ankle because the base under the front part of the shoe is so narrow. Other than that, they are light and have great traction, but the binding system is a little tricky the first few times--that wide strap. But once you adjust it, you don't have to again unless you change your boot. The strap that crosses the top of your foot tends to be tight and must we worn loose or you can get arch fatigue.
