Comments about Trigger Point Performance The Grid Foam Roller:
This is the best foam roller I've ever used. The plastic pipe/core allows the roller to really dig in and release tension whereas most would just give way and only help a little bit. My ART therapist and I agree the different textures in the foam really don't offer any difference in the massage but this thing really helps break things up.
The only con is it's a bit too short. It seems like the perfect length but I've found it's real easy to roll off of it with a few passes. I would opt for the longer version.

Comments about Trigger Point Performance The Grid Foam Roller:
Picked this up on a 20% discount, so got it at a steal. To be honest, I haven't used it a lot yet, it's still practically new. I run about 30miles a week in off-season and have used this on my longer run days. It's good and really helps loosen out sore muscels. Very light and can fit easily into a gym bag.

Comments about Trigger Point Performance The Grid Foam Roller:
The longer roller might be better for home use but I bought the shorter model for travel. Excellent

Comments about Trigger Point Performance The Grid Foam Roller:
Before I started using the foam roller, my legs would feel sore the morning after a run. Now I use it 3 or 4 times a week, the benefits are tremendous, I highly recommend!

Comments about Trigger Point Performance The Grid Foam Roller:
I'm in front of a computer all day so I get tight and sore, even though I'm active and stretch a lot. I have a variety of tools that help and was looking for a foam roller to add to my arsenal.
I liked the construction of The Grid and it seems more durable than most rollers. I looked at the larger model but wanted to stick with something more portable, and perhaps easier to use in some respects.
I worked some troublesome spots fairly vigorously my first session. On continued use, I feel relaxed and as if I've been through a bit of workout. Most importantly, the aches, as opposed to muscle soreness, are diminishing.
It is a bit pricey compared to most rollers but I think it will be made up for in durability (and relief). The other detractant is lack of specific instruction. You can buy the extra videos, pricey too, I'm sure they're great. Or look around or check with a trainer. Have fun.

Comments about Trigger Point Performance The Grid Foam Roller:
After a co-worker recommendation, I purchased the Trigger Point roller and couldn't be happier. This roller is far better then the standard foam rollers on the market. You can vary the intensity by using different parts of the roller. It does a great job getting my muscles ready for a workout and recovering from those workouts. I highly recommend the Trigger Point Foam Roller and plan to get another one for my office!

Comments about Trigger Point Performance The Grid Foam Roller:
I bought this despite having read a few negative reviews (doesn't feel much different to a conventional foam roller, the length is too short, expensive).
I'm very glad I went ahead and bought one of these rollers. I find it so much better than a foam roller. The surface structures on 'the grid' are really good at working out knots in tight calf muscles. The softish material over a very solid plastic cylinder makes for a very solid roller - which is both good and bad. At first it can be quite painful to use, but with repeated use this gets better. The length of the roller has never been a problem for me, since I roll one leg at a time, and prefer to use a softer foam roller for my back (this is probably a good policy, since I don't think you want to press your weight onto your spine or neck when you are lying on something as hard and unyielding as the grid). And, finally the cost. $40 for the benefits using this has brought me is ridiculously cheap!
Highly recommended!

Comments about Trigger Point Performance The Grid Foam Roller:
I bought this foam roller to work out my legs after cycling and running. The raised, foam pattern does help to break up the muscle knots. And the product insert comes with a nice, instruction guide to help you maximize the roller. Think of this as part of your post-exercise, stretching routine. A great product so far.
