      Comments about Rossignol T4 NIS Auto Touring Cross-Country Bindings:

      I've only used these bindings a short time but am very pleased with them. They are a noticeable improvement over the older design, having an easier "button" to press to step out, and using two hooks rather than a plate to engage the boot, the same as their top end bindings. Well worth the extra few bucks. Except for the color they are identical to the Fischer binding which is marketed as a combi skate/classical binding. If you are looking for an auto binding, this is the one to get. I would have rated it five stars but a friend of mine had a pair of skis that came with this binding and one cracked. I suspect it was damaged in shipment rather than use, but only time will tell with mine. A sign of confidence I have in the product is that I ordered additional pairs for replacing older bindings on other skis.
