Comments about Fischer SC Classic NIS Cross-Country Skis:
I bought these and got the 202 length although the size chart said I would be 207 as I weigh 185lbs. In the store I stood on them and did the paper test with an associate and the 202 was definitely as stiff as I could go, the 207 would have been way overkill I would not have been able to get any sort of decent kick. I have skied these in track and on groomed trails and love them no complaints at all. I also have skiied them on some boot packed trails and snowmachine trails and I was happy with them. Heck I even took them backcountry in some deep powder breaking trail to visit a neighbors cabin on a cabin trip and I did better than than the dudes on snowshoes but I would not reccomend them as a backcountry ski. I had fishscale skis before these and I was always slipping especially up hills and in the packed tracks while my kid on waxable skis would kick on by. These are a great waxable ski and for people afraid to wax because it looks confusing it is not hard at all so just buy these now right now put em in your basket and pay. OK
