The Baffin Icebreaker winter boots excel in even the coldest, harshest environs. Comfort rated down to -94°F, they'll fight freezing temperatures, icy terrain and the deepest snowdrifts.

  • Rugged, ripstop nylon and synthetic rubber uppers supply lasting cold-weather performance; adjustable, single-pull laces secure a quick fit
  • Molded rubber outer shells offer weather protection and maintain flexibility in cold weather; heel welts help hold snowshoe straps in place
  • Removable, 8-layer inner boot system provides excellent thermal resistance and vapor transfer for long-term performance and comfort
  • Polyester linings wick moisture away from feet and dry quickly for lasting comfort
  • EVA midsoles absorb impact to reduce foot fatigue and help provide insulation from the frozen terrain underfoot
  • Nylon arch shanks supply midfoot stability and support feet on uneven terrain

I've been looking for a decent pair of winter boots for a while now. It wasn't until these went on sale that they popped up on my radar. I decided to check them out and I was VERY impressed. Everything from the fit, the comfort, the WARMTH!, the ease of exit/entry...so far, the best winter boots I've ever owned. I just wish they were waterproof. WaterPROOF meaning: stick your boot in foot of water and come out bone dry...well, these are not that. They are great in the snow (huge drifts with the built in gaiters were no problem) and wet (slush and < 3" puddle) and keep you warm in Minnesota weather...well NORMAL Minnesota weather as it has yet to drop below 8 degrees F this year.

So far so good....will update once winter is over.
