Comments about Keen Coronado Rain Boots - Kids' Sizes 1 - 6 - 2010 Closeout:
It is impossible to find truely waterproof shoes for a 16 month old that wears a size 4. These actually come that small! But our son could barely walk in them without falling over. The sole is way too stiff. We bought a second pair of rainboots for him from boggs. Baby boggs boot. Those are awesome and super flexible. He even brings them to us to put on and wear around the house. He loves them and has no trouble walking in them. They do get damp inside after jumping in mud puddles because his rain pants don't stay over the top of the boggs. Order one size up in the boggs for winter because a baby will need THICK socks on to keep warm feet. The keens are warmer and stay dry inside no matter what the conditions! But he hates them due to stiffness of sole. Would also recomend Stonz from canada for the snow.

This review is dictated from an 8 year old boy: When I first pulled these boots out of the box, I loved them! They are soft inside; and that's great!! But...there is one thing about them I don't like. I went to the ocean and a huge wave drenched me! My boots were soaked and filled with water! Five days later they were still sopping wet. My mom could still ring water out of the insoles and the sides were very wet still! She put them at the heater and when she checked them, the soft inside was stiff. Ugh. I'm sure these are great for just walking in the rain. However, if you get them wet inside... good luck getting them dry!
