      I was looking for a durable, comfortable, sturdy and warm/dry boot for hiking with my dog in heavy snows. I have a narrow foot with a high arch and Keen sandals have always been my fav, but I'd never worn a full Keen shoe before. These are great! Keeps me warm and dry while hiking. The laces look time consuming but they aren't. It's easy on, easy off, very comfortable, supportive and stable and they are attractive to boot (no pun intended).

        I bought these boots to use for snowshoeing and also tromping around soggy Seattle in the rain and mud with our dog. I had a hard time finding boots that were stylish enough to wear on a soggy day around town, but also sturdy enough for snowshoeing. These seem to fit the bill! We were out snowshoeing for about 3 hours yesterday and my feet stayed warm and dry. I am normally a 6.5, and it felt a little loose, but I could wear thicker socks. Compared to the running/hiking shoes I am used to wearing, these felt heavy, but compared to a lot of other winter boots out there I'm sure they are not in reality. I will get used to the weight and it will just make my legs stronger, right?

        I wear a size 10, comfortably, and while this boot would have been great otherwise, my toes were touching the end of the boot -all of them. A size up would not have fit my arch the way these did. I have a pair of shoes made by this company and I love them - they fit fine.

          I wear size 9 with regular shoes and size 10 with boots, and the size 10 with these boots fits perfectly! They're snug where it matters, but even with thick socks, there is plenty of wiggle for my toes.

          One thing I love about these boots is that up until the top two shoe lace holes, the tongue is completely connected to the rest of the boot. Not only does this ensure that rain stays out and warmth stays in, but it also means that if I leave the laces untied and slightly loose, I can easily slip the boots on and off when I'm making a quick run out into the cold, without the boots falling off my feet or having laces dragging everywhere.

          It's just a shame REI doesn't offer the Black/Deep Sea color

          Service and delivery comments:

          Delivery was a day ahead of schedule! The box was really beat up though, and if the objects inside hadn't been very sturdy boots, they might have been damanged.

            I bought these boots to replace a pair that were falling apart. I'm super pleased--they're comfortable, easy to tie (some lace-up boots are a nightmare to snug), and lightweight for winter boots. They're great for the cold, damp Pacific Northwest.

              These boots are good and sturdy! Seem to have good traction. They keep my feet extremely warm and cozy! I bought them for our cold temperatures in the winter. I wasnt sure about buying them, but after bringing them home and wearing them a few times I love them. They are stylish enough to wear with skirts and leggings to jeans. Comfortable right out of the box.

                    I love these boots. I think they're really cute, but they won't be out of style in 5 years. I'm planning on having these boots for years. They're very warm and sturdy. I usually wear a 9.5, but that was tight in the toe. I got the 10, but that's just a little too big. With thick socks, though, just right. I'm very happy with the boots.

                      Not only are the boots a little fashionable, but they are totally functional. I wore them ice fishing yesterday. I was out on the lake for 4 full hours. My feet were kept warm and dry the entire time. I even dipped the toe of my boot into the fishing hole to test it out. These are a great pair of boots so far!
